OPERATION BASIC PRINCIPLES
R22 contains a very low level of CFC. However, it's
very efficient. The freon has the capability to warm up under pressure
and cool down as we reduce pressure
Pressure = Heat
Low pressure = Cold
** Minimum freon pressure must be maintained
at all time in the system
Operation
cycles
Energy collection via the radiators (evaporators)
-
High air circulation to recuperate the energy present
in the air to warm up the freon
-
Air comes out 5 to10 °C / 9 to18 °F colder,
depending on the air temperature and humidity level and also varies because
of the water temperature and machine capacity.
-
Check for frost by monitoring minimum freon temperature
(Anti Ice)
-
Pre-heated freon is now ready to enter the compressor
Compression of Freon
-
Compression of freon to increase temperature
-
Hot freon (60°C/ 140°F & higher) is pushed
in the heat exchanger (Condenser)
Heat exchange
-
Hot freon circulates inside the Cu/Ni tube inside
the heat exchanger container.
-
Water circulates around the tube to transfer the
energy into the pool.
